Hello, and welcome to about us, and Voyt and Sharon's Road Trip USA.
After selling the family business, we decided to start our travel adventures, and began living the life we had always dreamed. We can now quickly pack the RV and hit the road. In our experiences some of the most enjoyable trips are those taken on the spur of the moment. We are the proud grandparents of five beautiful grand children, the oldest grandson is with the 82nd Airborne, and is stationed in Afghanistan. Our second grandson has ambitions after graduation from high school of becoming and Army Ranger. Sharon seldom remembers RV Park camping, but can describe in detail a night spent dry-camping at a roadside pull-off, or campground. One example was at this roadside pull off in the northern Utah Mountains, where in the distance we could hear the bellows of a bull Elk. For sometime we could hear his lonesome calls before he finally moves out of hearing range.
By now you probably have the idea, we are not much for the lights and glitter of the big city. You would be right in this assumption, but for one city we make an exception. That city is San Francisco, from Fisherman's Wharf, Nob Hill, and the famous trolleys rides there is much to see and enjoy . We rode BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) into the city from the Richmond Station and that was an adventure for us. If you travel to San Francisco be sure to try the sea food on Fisherman's Wharf, it's great eating!
We have seen the Grand Canyon from a point few travelers venture into, by traveling to the bottom of the Canyon in an automobile. Right to the river bank of the mighty Colorado River.
