Back Roads Adventure

Traveling the back roads is like climbing a mountain just to see what lies beyond.
There is much to see and learn about America, but most people will never take the time to discover this part of our beautiful nation.
We love to hit the road always enjoying the scenery and on the outlook for anything interesting or unusual that comes along.

One such road is the drive into Huntington Canyon, located in central Utah. This small canyon has a stream with great trout fishing, and many places to camp with RV or tents. We dry camped there in early October, and the weather was great. However, be aware the Forest Ranger told us that they closed the road November 1st. because of snow.Another time the back road fever hit us was in Montana, Where we dry camped along the Madison River. Our entire stay was enjoyable. There were hiking trails following the river bank that seemed to go forever. The sound of the river put us to sleep every night, very relaxing indeed.

For whatever reason, when time permits, hit that exit ramp and travel the back roads, because there is much to see and explore that Interstate Highways have bypassed. You might even find some treasure you thought was no longer available.

One thing for sure you will nearly always find ample parking and that unhurried environment.

We hope to see you out there exploring the back roads of America. Until then keep the wind at your back and the sun out of your eyes.
