National and State Parks

Looking for some of the best scenery and travel adventure America has to offer, the National and State Parks are some of the best places to visit.
Our goal is to introduce the articles and photos we have produced when visiting some of the parks in America. Also there will be information on RV camping and parking for all the parks visited.

There are National and State Parks though out our land, just waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. When we are visiting the parks, there is that knowledge that much of the scenery looked the same to our forefathers as it does today.

Road Trip USA appreciate what the National and State Park Service have accomplished thru the years to preserve places that all can visit and enjoy. Without their work and dedication it would have already been gone forever!

Here is a book on State Parks that has loads of information, and a great resource when visiting any State Park in America. Covers where to go in every State, with pristine places to camp. Note: I have not used this book but a fellow RVer had a copy and it left nothing out.

So lets hit the road and explore our National and State Parks.

Heavener, Oklahoma Runestone -Learn about the Heavener Runestone in Oklahoma. How it was discovered, what the inscriptions say and who inscribed the ancient markings onto the stone. With photos, directions and RV accessibility.

Traveling the Talimena Drive Scenic Byway -Traveling the Talimena Scenic Byway. Located in the Kiamachi Mountains in Southeastern Oklahoma. Your view covers miles as seen from the many vistas found along this beautiful drive.

Battlefield at Prairie Grove Arkansas -Visiting the Civil War battlefield at Prairie Grove Arkansas.The last major battle in Northwest Arkansas.

Grand Canyon From Below -Drive to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and see the mighty Colorado River closeup.
